This guide walks you through connecting OSL Exchange and Brokerage to your Parfin account. This assumes that you already have a valid administrator account in Parfin and that you have a valid and verified OSL account.
1. Preparing Parfin
As an administrator, log into your Parfin account, go to “Counterparties” and click “Connect Counterparty”.
If you wish to connect OSL Exchange (here we will show your total balance on OSL: Primary + Exchange + Brokerage), then select “Exchange” from the tabs, select “OSL” from the dropdown.
Give this connection any name (this name will show up across your account).
If you wish to connect only OSL Brokerage (here we will show your Brokerage balance only), then select “OTC Desk” from the tabs, select “OSL Brokerage” from the dropdown.
Give this connection any name (this name will show up across your account).
2. Creating a Transactional key
In a different tab, Log in to OSL
Click on the Profile Icon, then go to Settings > API
Click on the Create Button
Copy the Access Key and the Secret Key and put them into the “Transactional Keys” section at Parfin.
Enable the “Move Funds” and "Place and Manage Orders" options.
Click the “Save” button in your OSL account.
3. Finishing Up
Back in Parfin click on “Connect”. If any error is shown, check the keys you copied & pasted and if necessary repeat step 2 above.
After a successful setup and a success message, you are able to see a correct balance on the Dashboard.
