This guide walks you through connecting Huobi to your Parfin account. This assumes that you already have a valid administrator account in Parfin and that you have a valid and verified Huobi account.
1. Preparing Parfin
As an administrator, log into your Parfin account, go to “Counterparties” and click “Connect Counterparty”.
Select “Exchange” from the tabs, select “Huobi” from the dropdown.
Give this connection any name (this name will show up across your account).
2. Creating a Read-only key
In a different tab, Log in to Huobi (huobi.com)
Go to API Management >Create API Key > Enter “Parfin Read Only” in the “Notes” field
Mark the “Read-only” checkbox.
Into the “IP Access” box input the following IP Addresses separated by commas:
- Production environment: 18.135.67.109
- UAT environment: 3.9.99.37
Click Create button.
Go through Security authentication – Enter the Security verification code from your account’s e-mail.
From the “Successfully Create” screen copy the Access Key and the Secret Key and put them into the “API-Key” input at Parfin"
Click the “Confirm” button in your Huobi account.
3. Creating a Transactional key
Go back to Huobi account > API Management >Create API Key > Enter “Parfin Transactional” in the “Notes” field.
Mark “Read-only”, “Withdraw” and “Trade” checkboxes.
Into the “IP Access” box input the following IP Addresses separated by commas:
- Production environment: 18.135.67.109
- UAT environment: 3.9.99.37 and 3.250.249.14
Click Create button.
Go through Security authentication – Enter the Security verification code from your account’s e-mail.
From the “Successfully Create” screen copy the Access Key and the Secret Key and put them into the “Transactional Keys” section at Parfin.
Click the “Confirm” button in your Huobi account.
4. Finishing Up
Back in Parfin click on “Connect”. If any error is shown, check the keys you copied & pasted and if necessary repeat steps 2 and 3 above.
After a successful setup and a success message, you are able to see a correct balance on the Dashboard.
5. Creating Whitelisted Withdrawal addresses in Huobi
To enable withdrawals through Parfin it’s mandatory to whitelist Parfin’s addresses at Binance. To do so please follow the instructions below.
Go back to Huobi API Management, select the Transactional API and click Edit.
On “Available withdrawal address Settings” select Custom and click on Withdraw Address.
Select the Coin and network.
Go back to Parfin, on the Settings > Wallets section, Copy the address of the desired asset.
Paste it on the “Address field”, write “Parfin” on Notes and click on Add.
Do the same for each coin.
6. OPTIONAL - Test Sending a Transaction
Go to the Parfin dashboard, click on “Create Transaction” and create a transaction to send money from your Huobi to your Parfin Internal Warm Wallet and back. Do this for BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT to make sure everything is working.
