Parfin 2.15.0 Release Notes

We're excited to announce the release 2.15 of the platform, which includes a range of new features and improvements to make your experience even better. Here are some of the highlights:

MPC Custody

With this release, Parfin is introducing enhanced wallet management and recovery by implementing the BIP32 wallet standard. Using BIP32 a single master key can generate an unlimited number of child keys and corresponding addresses. The keys are thus organized in a hierarchical structure and segregated across different blockchains. BIP32 wallets only require a single backup for the entire wallet making it easier to backup and recover the wallet.

Also included in this release is the fee management functionality via the Open API. Clients can now set the fee priority (low, medium, high) and get visibility on fee estimates before they submit a transaction. All the custody functionalities including Activity, Whitelists and Disaster Recovery is available under the Custody menu on Parfin platform. This allows for a more seamless user experience.

Main features:

  • Enhanced wallet management with BIP32
  • Fee Management
  • Consolidated Custody menu

Crypto as a Service

This release on CaaS was focused on increasing Funding life cycle automation, including new rules for blocked Users, and validating duplicated deposit transactional hash. Now auto-identified deposits can be automatically approved, based on pre-determinant thresholds.

Those features enable our platform to receive end-user funds with more efficient and using all platform Security and Compliance rules. If our clients receive any deposit from a risky address, we will automatically block this user and raise a red flag to be checked by the Compliance team.

We have increased the controls over blocked Users. They cannot have deposits approved or login.

Main features:

  • Deposit Automation
  • Deposit Thresholds
  • New User Block Rules
  • Duplicated Deposit Hash Validations
